Texas Bill of Sale, free for used car or truck sale

When selling your vehicle privately in Texas State, you can use the below bill of sale from Jefferson county to transfer ownership. If you live in Austin, Dallas, Houton, San Antonio, El Paso, or Corpus Christi, you may use this bill of sale to apply for a title certificate if you are the car buyer. Since Texas law requires a car or truck seller to disclose to the buyer the miles a vehicle has traveled, the bill of sale form provides a spot for you to indicate actual mileage on the vehicle you are buying.

The bill of sale contains the following information:

- Vehicle information, such as make, model, year, vehicle identification number, and an odometer reading.
- Car Buyer information, such as name and address, and buyer's signature.
- Car Seller information, such as name, address, and seller's signature.
- Purchase price of vehicle
- Date of vehicle sale.

.
Remember to ask the car owner to show you the title to the vehicle. A soiled or smudged area on the title over the odometer reading may indicate the car title has been altered. Also, compare the mileage on the title with the vehicle’s current odometer reading. Whether you reside in Waco, Lubbock, Laredo, or Fort Worth, you can use Free Texas Bill of Sale, for Used Car or Truck Sale
