Every car or truck owner should have Roadside Emergency Kits in their vehicle.
Whether you drive a new or used car, you should have one. The issue is, what
should it contain? Below is the first part of our suggested list of items to
keep in your car emergency roadside kit:

- Flashlight with extra new batteries and bulbs.
- Maps, if you don't have a GPS system.
- Portable First Aid Kit.
- Car repair tools - if you can fix things on a car or truck.
- Extra clothing, especially, coats in winter season.
- Tire inflation can, in case of a flat tire, away from a service station.
- Jumper cables to boost in case your car battery goes weak.
- Medical information- Write your Medical Insurance Information and put
it in a large envelope marked "Medical Information". This can be
handy if you need emergency medical attention while on the road.
- Hand cleaner, like the waterless type sold at auto parts store.
